M U L L A duel of ideas

The absurd and the lyrical

Albert Camus  vs  Ocean Vuong

Camus believed that the universe is silent and we must, knowing this, choose to live as if meaning were possible. Vuong writes from the same silence with a different temperature — the lyrical reply where Camus wrote the philosophical one. Both refuse to pretend that meaning is given, and both refuse to give up on it.

What would you choose to mean today, knowing nothing is given?

Whose side are you on?
